Purpose of Collection

Service Providers
- Apple Inc.: Payment processing and app distribution
- Anthropic PBC: AI assistant functionality. Anthropic does not use API data for model training. API inputs and outputs are retained for up to 30 days. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.
- Google LLC: AI video analysis for condition reports via Gemini, and cloud infrastructure and data storage via Google Cloud Platform. Google does not use Gemini API data to train their models. API inputs and outputs are retained for up to 55 days. See Google's Gemini API Privacy Policy for details.
- PostHog Inc.: Anonymised analytics (USA)
These providers are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to us.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information where required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information for third-party marketing purposes.
Overseas Disclosure
Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Australia by our third-party service providers. The specific processing locations are determined by each provider and may change over time. Our key providers and their known hosting locations are:
- Google Cloud Platform: Cloud infrastructure and data storage (Australia)
- Anthropic PBC: AI processing (processing location determined by Anthropic)
- Google Gemini API: AI video analysis (processing location determined by Google)

- Apple Inc.: Payment processing and app distribution

Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients comply with the APPs or are subject to a substantially similar privacy regime.
Data Security

- Secure authentication and access controls
- Regular security assessments
- Access limited to authorised personnel only

AI Data Processing
Propero uses AI services from both Anthropic and Google to power different features:
Anthropic Claude: AI Assistant
- Your prompts and relevant property/tenancy context are sent to Anthropic's servers for processing
- Anthropic does not use API data to train their AI models
- Anthropic retains API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days
- The AI assistant does not have access to your photos, videos, or voice recordings unless you explicitly include them in your query
Google Gemini: Video Analysis for Condition Reports
- Videos recorded during property inspections are sent to Google's Gemini API servers for analysis
- Google does not use Gemini API data to train their AI models
- Google retains API inputs and outputs for up to 55 days
- Video data is processed to generate written condition report observations

Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies to improve your experience and to collect analytics data.
PostHog
Our app uses PostHog for anonymised analytics to understand how features are used and to improve the service. This data does not personally identify you.

Children's Privacy
Propero is not intended for use by children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy

- Posting the updated policy in the app
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending you an email notification for significant changes
Your continued use of Propero after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
