No. Propero is a native iPhone app designed to feel obvious: add your property, lease, and tenant, and the app takes it from there. If you can use email, you can use Propero.

How do AI condition reports work?

Walk each room with your camera and Propero turns the footage into a structured, room-by-room report with photos attached. You review and approve everything, and you can export the finished report as a PDF.

Does it handle rooms and sharehouses?

Yes. When you set a property up you choose the arrangement: the entire place, a private room, or a shared home, and Propero shapes the setup around it. Each property runs one active lease with one clean ledger.

Is my data secure with Propero?

Propero protects your records with account-level access controls, encrypted connections, and app-level checks before information can be reached. Your property, lease, tenant, and payment records are kept private to your account.

What does the AI actually do?

Propero Chat answers tenancy questions grounded in indexed legislation, drafts tenant messages, and can read your maintenance requests, expenses, and condition reports when you ask. It works alongside the reminders and reports, not instead of them.

Which states does Propero cover?

Payments, expenses, and reports work anywhere in Australia. Legislation answers are grounded in NSW tenancy law today, and the break-lease guide and termination notice generator cover NSW, VIC and QLD, with more states planned.

Does Propero hold my rent money?

No. Rent goes from your tenant straight to your account and Propero keeps score: schedules, payments, receipts, and reports. It never holds, transfers, or manages rental money.

How long does setup take?

A few minutes per property. Add the property, the lease, and the tenant, and Propero builds the rent schedule for you. From there every payment is tracked against that schedule.

Can I import existing records?

There is no bulk import today. Most landlords start from the current lease: enter the property and tenancy details once, and Propero tracks everything from there. Past invoices can be logged as expenses with receipts attached.

What happens when I outgrow Free?

Free covers your first property in full. When you add a second property, Pro unlocks unlimited properties, AI condition reports, and 3x the daily AI messages for $24.99 a month.

Do my tenants need to install anything?

No. Tenants do not need an app: you share receipts, reports, and messages with them directly. Propero is built for you, the landlord.

What do I need to get started?

An iPhone and your lease details. Download Propero from the App Store, create an account, and add your first property. The Free tier has no time limit.

Do I need a walkthrough to start?

No, but you can book one. Setup is self-serve, and if you would like a guided tour of Propero before switching, book a walkthrough and we will take you through it personally.

Yes. Pro is billed through your Apple ID, so you can cancel in your App Store subscription settings whenever you like and keep Pro until the end of the billing period.

Your records are kept private to your account and protected with secure access controls, encrypted connections, and app-level checks. When AI features are used, only the relevant content needed to answer your request or create a report is processed.
