Propero Mail: an email address for every property
Propero Mail gives every property its own email address. Your tenant writes to it, Propero drafts the reply in the chat, and nothing is sent until you approve it.

Most of a tenancy arrives as a message. The hot water has stopped. Rent is going to be a few days late. Can I put a shelf up in the second bedroom. Every one of those has to be read, thought about and answered, usually at night, usually when you have the least patience for it. Now that job changes shape. Propero Mail gives every property in Propero a dedicated email address, and the replies come back already written.

How it works
Your property gets a Propero Mail address at inbox.propero.app, built from its street address, so it reads something like 12oceanst@inbox.propero.app. You share it with your tenant once and it becomes the way they reach you. Repair requests, rent questions, notices and paperwork all land in the same place.
When something arrives, Propero reads it, works out what it is about and how urgent it is, and drafts your reply in the chat. The draft is grounded in your tenancy, your dates and your rent, and in the residential tenancy legislation for your state, so it answers the actual question rather than answering in general terms. You see the tenant’s email in full, the way they wrote it, with the draft underneath it.
If it is a repair, you can log it as a maintenance request from the same screen. It arrives with a short title and the tenant already attached, so the record exists while you are still reading about the problem.
Nothing is sent until you approve it
A draft is only a draft. Propero does not send anything on your behalf. You read it, change whatever you want, or write your own reply, and it leaves only when you press send. That matters more here than anywhere else in the app. What you say to your tenant about an entry notice or a rent increase is a decision, and decisions stay with you.
If a reply cannot be delivered, Propero flags it in the app so you can correct the tenant’s address and send it again. The address itself is closed by default: it accepts mail from the tenant on record for that property and from you, and drops everything else. Nobody can guess the address and put a message in front of you.
Forward anything to it
The address works in your direction too. Forward an email to it from the address you signed up with, a plumber’s quote, a letter from the owners corporation, an invoice you would rather not read twice, and Propero answers it in the chat and emails the answer back to you. It recognises your address, so it knows the message is from you.

Propero Mail and the triage behind it are part of Propero Pro, $24.99 a month or $199.99 a year. The free plan does not change: your first property, rent tracking, maintenance, lease and tenants, ledgers and tax reporting, and the assistant on a daily quota.

A full expenses screen, with your records laid out month by month and a receipt, a photo or a PDF, attached to any expense.

Editing a tenant’s contact details after setup, for the new phone number or the email address that changed.
And a refreshed first run, so your first few minutes in Propero make more sense.
Correspondence is the part people worry about when they leave an agency. The money is arithmetic and the paperwork is filing, but a tenant’s email on a Sunday night is a judgement call, and the agency was the one making it. Propero now writes the first version and hands it to you. The decision, and the relationship, stay yours.
